How do I apply for accommodations on CollegeBoard exams (SAT/SAT Subject Tests/AP Exams)?

The CATS Center will process all student applications on students' behalf prior to junior year. If there is a need to process sooner, please contact us directly. Please complete the College Board Consent Form as part of the registration process and return to cats@siprep.org.

Students taking the AP exams, should contact CATS in December to ensure accommodations are in place before January deadlines. Sophomores taking optional AP exams should also reach out to CATS as this is an early accommodations requests.

St. Ignatius SAT Special Testing Dates (2022-2023)

2022-2023 School Year (All test dates are subject to Proctor and School Schedules)

December and May tests are not offered through SI Special Testing.

SI WIll be holding an SAT School Day Testing for Seniors in october and one for juniors in march. Accommodations will be honored for these days. Please contact cats@siprep.org to ensure accommodations are approved from College board.

Do my SAT/SAT Subject Test accommodations apply to AP Tests?

Accommodations approved through the CollegeBoard, apply for all CollegeBoard tests, which includes AP exams, PSAT, and SAT.

Students that plan to take an AP Exam in the month of May should request accommodations by December of the previous year.

This means that if you are approved for 50% extended time, you will receive 50% extended time on all SATs, SAT Subject Tests, and AP exams.
