Welcome New Families

Congratulations on joining SI's Class of 2030!

This page lists several tasks families must complete in order to hit the ground running when the 2026-27 school year starts in August, as well as many optional opportunities to meet other SI families and get involved with the community.

Mandatory tasks and events are marked MANDATORY. Highlighted events in the Class of 2030 Orientation Program are marked with this symbol ๐Ÿพ. You won't want to miss out on these opportunities for fun and bonding with your new classmates!

There are three main sections below: Things You Need to Do, Things You Need to Know, and Other Opportunities to Get Involved.

Click a date to see more information. Questions? See a list of contacts here, or use this form and we will do our best to get your question to the person best able to answer. Finally, follow SI on social media to stay up to the moment with life at the school.
